ABOVE GROUND TANKS

Vaporizers
Construction Unlimited, Inc. can install and maintain Vaporizer/Blender Units from different Manufacturers such as:

Presently C.U.I. is an authorized servicing dealer for Alternate Energy Vaporizers. We are also seeking associations with several of the other manufacturers listed.
Blenders are used to introduce an air mixture to decrease the BTU of the propane to that of Natural Gas.
It is primarily used as Interruptible Service for clients with a large Natural Gas Use. Usually a Natural Gas supplier will give a discount on the purchase of N.G. when there is a back up supply. Several companies we know of have excellent results in use and the Return on Investment can be as low as 3 yrs.

STEEL PIPING
Piping is very critical to an above ground supply installation. Location of every line, it's components, size and safety devices need planning by a person familiar with operations. Our experience in this field reveals a definite history of welded verses threaded pipe. If at all possible we weld all piping except where supplied manufactures equipment is threaded.
C.U.I. manufactures it's own methanol injectors for L. P. supply delivery line and bobtail unloading breakaways. Also, we have a special arrangement of piping that looks appealing as an installed system. We manufacture most piping on site to fit.
Underground piping, regulated by Maryland Department of the Environment and must meet certain requirements depending on usage.
Regulators, shut off valves, globe valves, metering devices, safety relief valves, expansion joints are some of the various components used in a tank installation.

Fire Protection
Many government jurisdictions require some form of fire suppression. This requirement is very specialized in design.

Boilers/Boiler Rooom Equipment
Being a specialty contractor, CONSTRUCTION UNLIMITED, INC. has completed several projects in large boiler room facilities to include retrofitting of burners, demolition of antiquated equipment, upgrades of equipment and installation/removal of various dearator, feedwater and blowdown tanks.
We have National Board Certified Welders for those projects that require Section IX welding, with procedures. Our welders are certified by an independent testing facility.
When needed, we can install your boiler and work with your boiler supplier to get your equipment installed and operating within a workable timeframe.

Utility Piping
Utilities piping for Gas (Natural Gas and Propane) are regulated by the Public Utilities Commission. Installation must meet government regulations. The installations may be of steel piping or plastic depending on certain criteria.
Utilities piping for Water can be of steel and/or plastic depending on design and requirements.
Utilities piping for sewer is usually dictated by the local authorities.
All this is necessary in order to adhere to the required regulations.
Our pipe-fitters are certified to install plastic piping to include socket fusion, butt fusion and sidewall fusion. If you require your own certification of our pipe-fitters, CUI is willing to cooperate with your needs.
