Owners of Construction Unlimited, Inc

There are three owners of C.U.I. In 1989 Bob Shumate and Bill Reaver started a partnership to erect commercial and industrial buildings. Clients going with the lowest bidder and Bob and Bill's desire to never cut corners could not compete. In 1993 they took on a new partner, John Crawford and decided to use their vast amount of experience into the providing construction of Propane Bulk Plants. They proved to be conscientious and very capable of executing large equipment projects. In January 1994 they formed the Corporation as Construction Unlimited, Inc. and hired more employees as more clients recognized their expertise and professionalism.

Bob Shumate, President, has a history in the mechanical fields. He worked in the Mid West trenching, welding and testing underground steel pipe for petroleum transfer. He has recieved his certificate as a Gas-Pipe Fitter from the State of Maryland. His knowledge and expertise in this field reflects in safety and installations performed by his crews.

Bill Reaver, V. Pres., has owned his own welding business. He has the ability to build a plant in his head and then put it in writing. This helps out the bid process of all the projects we bid on.

John Crawford, Sect., has worked as a superintendent for the Maryland Transit Authority helping to build the train stations. His knowledge of welding includes an ASME section IX certificate. John also holds a certificate from the State of Maryland as a Gas-Pipe Fitter.
